Description
A concept that began as a “draw this logo from memory” exercise evolved into a full redesign of the Diablo IV logo. I focused on giving the letterforms a darker, more demonic presence, giving the idea that they were carved from obsidian in the underworld. Departing from Blizzard’s tradition of a bold, prominent numeral, I integrated a more subtle “IV” within the O. Also included is a three-dimensional, textured version designed for in game applications such as title and loading screens.
